CHARACTERS OF THE EPISODE ONE ... . .  .   .



Iulia is the vampire who created a mutant race, through centuries of cruent experiments on humans: the Dàimones are able to keep some vampire peculiarities and at the same time to stand sunlight. Thanks to those creatures' blood, Iulia ment to cause a genetic mutation on vampires themeselves in order to make them immune to UV rays. At the half of Nineteenth century, she succeded in having a son from the strongest dàimon Vincent. Aidan is born: the perfect fusion between Humans and Vampires is finally done.


Sofia, rational and prudent, followed Iulia's experiments apart. When the other Vampires found out the Dàimones' existence and saw them as a serious danger, they decided to slay mutants indiscriminately. Thus Sofia, leader of a group of students (the Order), took side in Dàimones' defence: she was convinced that studying them was more useful that killing them. In spite of that, mutants estinguish completely in the Nineteeth century. Or so they believed....
Kael is one of the most brilliant students of the Order. In the Nineteenth century he lost his memory because of a heavy shock and haven't still recover it since now. His studies lead him to the crucial discovery of a misterious manuscript: Aidan's journal. Aidan is a very special dàimon and it seems he escaped the extinction. Kael is ready to break all the vampiric laws in order to go through the matter and find Aidan.


Aidan. Born at the half of the Nineteenth century, from a vampire and a the strongest mutant, he's the perfect dàimon. His childhood was marked by a visceral tie with his mother Iulia, who kept him isolated from the rest of the world to protect him and hide him to the other vampires. In spite of his parents' carefulness, Aidan was scared by the thought of being a unique creature in the world. At the age of 12 he withdrew into himself and started writing a journal. In 21st century Kael discovers that journal.


Vincent was the strongest mutant, with whom Iulia gave birth to Aidan. He knew nothing about Iulia's planes and about her role in Dàimones' genesis. Vincent was convinced of Iulia's sincere feelings... He cherished his son Aidan and would be ready to everything in order to protect him.
